TESTIMONIALS

Hey Jake! Just thought I'd let you know how pleased we are with the new website. We have seen a dramatic increase in hits. I just landed a $XXXX job fabricating tank covers for a government test lab in Maryland. They would never have found us with the old site.”

VOLUNTEER WORK

Weekly General Volunteer

Volunteering enabled me to apply myself and experience different environments!

Through volunteering, I got involved with new things and develop technical, social, and academic skills that couldn’t be learned in the classroom.  Volunteering allows you to experience different environments and situations with people who may be outside of your 'bubble'. Not only was I helping organizations by volunteering manpower to their causes but I was able to shape and develop areas of myself that I may not have been able to otherwise.

I have come to understand that volunteering is not about you or me, it is about coming together. If done in the correct fashion it can take the focus off you and put into perspective a positive sense of place. It can be your weekly routine that influences your weekly decisions.

Also involved with: Special Olympics, The Ronald McDonald House, and Maine Cancer Foundation events
